Mothers Day, 2001 was Fred's mother's last.  

Although she was very ill, she was able to go out to dinner with the family one last time:

 

Mother's day is also Sue's Father's birthday.  He's reading the instructions for his present, a battery saw and drill.

Sue got a firefighter Hummel.
